IntroHI is a small, referral-only intro service for young professionals on O‘ahu. No apps, no swiping. I meet you, get a sense of who you are, and when I think there’s a real fit, I make the introduction.

How it works

Referral only
You have to come through referral only. It keeps the community small and the trust high.

We meet first
A quick 10 minutes — in person or over video. I just want to know who you are before I introduce you to anyone.

You decide
I’ll send you a photo when I think there’s a match. You say yes or no — no explanation needed.

Just coffee
If both people are in, it’s a 30–45 minute coffee. That’s the whole commitment.

About me

I genuinely
love this.

There’s no fee, no membership, no catch. I do this because connecting people is something I care about deeply — and I’ve been doing it in one form or another for most of my adult life.

Background

I studied dating in grad school — how people meet, what works, what doesn’t — across Hawai‘i, the mainland, and internationally. I’ve thought a lot about this.

I’ve officiated weddings, helped friends plan proposals, and emceed receptions. These are some of the moments I’m most proud of — getting to be part of how people find and celebrate each other.

IntroHI is an extension of all of that. I do it because I’m good at it, and because I want more locals to find each other and build lives here.

What to expect

I’ll be straightforward
I won’t set you up with someone just to make something happen. If I don’t see a real fit, I’ll wait until I do.
Quality over volume
I’m not trying to run a lot of intros. I’d rather take my time and get it right.
No pressure, ever
You can say no to any intro, take a break, or step away entirely. No awkwardness.
